Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s office said Israel \u201crefrained from additional attacks\u201d against Iran due to a call<\/a> with President Trump early Tuesday.<\/p>\n In a thread on the social platform X, Netanyahu\u2019s office said a ceasefire between Israel and Iran \u201cwas set for 07:00 this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAt 03:00, Israel forcefully attacked in the heart of Tehran, struck regime targets and eliminated hundreds of Basij and Iranian security forces personnel,\u201d the thread said.<\/p>\n \u201cShortly before the ceasefire was due to take effect, Iran launched a barrage of missiles, one of which took the lives of four of our citizens in Be’er Sheva. The ceasefire took effect at 07:00,\u201d the thread continued.<\/p>\n Netanyahu\u2019s office then claimed that a few minutes later, the Iranians \u201claunched one missile at Israeli territory,\u201d with another two missiles coming more than three hours later. They caused no casualties nor damage because they landed in “open areas” or were intercepted, the post said.<\/p>\n Israel responded by taking out a radar installation outside Tehran, Netanyahu’s office said.<\/p>\n \u201cPursuant to the conversation between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel has refrained from additional attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump and Netanyahu talked while the president<\/a> was headed to a NATO summit in the Netherlands, according to The Associated Press.<\/p>\n
